Answered question

Why doesn't Projectplace save my documents?

I have uploaded a document to Projectplace and wanted to revise it (add hours, tasks etc.). Normally I get a message asking me if I want to "upgrade" the document to a higher number (e.g. from 0.1 to 0.2). This time, I get no message and all the new information was lost and I got stuck with the old version.

Do you use the plug-in? In that case you would have a question to open, open and lock, or save when you click on the document. Otherwise we use webdav and then it would be great to know your version of office. What kind of file is it?

Did you get some sort of error message when you closed the document or did you get all the normal questions (like do you want to save this document...)

Is this the same computer that you normally work on?

Yes, we use the plugin. Normally I get a message asking me if I want to save the document. But last friday I didn't get it.

It's a simple MS Word-file, which we have used frequently.

Hi Ferry,

There can be a number of reasons why this was not working for you. If it's convenient for you, let's have an online meeting and check out what's happening. Unfortunately, I have a busy afternoon scheduled but you can call support if you want. Or e-mail support@projectplace.com with your tel no and what time would suit you and I or someone else will call you back:) Please include the link to this in the e-mail so one of my colleagues could be up to date with the case.

Best regards,
Karolina
