The Projectplace plugin under firefox does not allow the function: "copy link." Although I tried several times to copy a projectplace document link into the Windows clipboard, this does not seem to have any effect when using Firefox. It is however possible using Internet Explorer.
This i due to limitations in the webbrowser.
As a workaound you can still use the copy link commando and then paste the link back into PP. Finally under properties for the link in the URL-field you find the document link and may copy it and use it outside PP.

See attached screen dump!
The properties window doesn't show a document URL...

It works... but its a bit clumsy. To many steps just to copy a direct link in order to mention it e.g. in the projectwall. The pasted link just shows up anywhere and I need to delete it afterwards again to reduce clutter
:(
I agree. Unfortunately this is due to differences in the browers. Let's hope that standards prevail so that we can make it work for everyone the same.
Best regards,
Karolina
