macro-enabled excel

Why can´t I edit an excel file with macros? I have uploaded it as macro-enabled excel, but for some reason I have to download the excel to my desktop and run the macros locally and then upload a new version. It seems that I can only open read-only version for the marco-enabled excel file, when I click the Projectplace link to the file.

Thanks for your question.
Macro-enabled Excel-files are not supported by the Projectplace Plugin. The easiest workaround is to drag and drop the file to the desktop, modify it, and then drag and drop the modified version back to Projectplace or upload it with the "Replace" function.

Which Projectplace link are you referring to where you can only open the read-only version?
